Splish Splash

Oh my. I'm excited. The house painter arrives on Monday to paint the inside of the house. Oh My God - I've waited ages for this day. I can't wait to get ride of the mission brown fence paint that some idiot painted around all the door frames and window sills. And then I'm going to break it gently to my DH that we are getting new window furnishings. Curtains, blinds and lace. And new carpet and a new garden.

Rally, Family Rally that is...

November saw Justine, Anne and Noel, Paul, John and Jack and I all descend on the farm. Good food, wine and company - busy beavers swarming all over the house.

Took me a while to get all the ducks lined up, but line up they did and the results were pretty good in the end. Jack was asleep and Bruce was awol.

Only a few weeks til Xmas. Can't wait to put up that Xmas tree - Shirley you are eventually going to have to let me put the tree up! You can't keep me from that box you know.

And a rally of other sorts - thank you Cheryl for your beautiful letter which came at the right moment. In the nic of time.

A wonderful 4 days with David and Kellie and William. Jack and William spent the first day telling each other who was boss and the second day playing beautifully together. Really appreciated them driving 6.5 hours to get to the farm to spend some time with us.

All of us just before we all departed for our separate lives.

Jack learning to share his 'dig, dig, digger' with William - NOT!

Three generations and cousins.

And someone who was smug to the back gills at having changed the way rubbish became trash and was taken to the tip. or is that 'dump'. no sorry, recycling plant. Uncle David and Jack with the new rail. Top Effort Uncle Dave. Thanks a million.
